"I’ve been a State Farm customer for about 8 years and transferred to Jake Squires’ office in 2023. Unfortunately, I’ve been extremely disappointed with the communication and handling of my account.

I first asked to be removed from my ex’s auto policy in October 2025 and was told it had been done. However, I continued to be charged for the policy. When I noticed and contacted the office again in December, the charges stopped, but I was essentially ghosted. I received no response, explanation, or follow-up. I’ve called and texted.

Now, in August 2026, I’ve discovered that I was never actually removed from my ex’s auto policy. As of today, I am still listed on a policy I was told I had been removed from nearly 10 months ago, and I can still see my ex’s address and billing information.

What is most frustrating is the complete lack of communication. I have tried to address this directly with the office, but instead of receiving clarification or confirmation that the issue was resolved, I was simply not responded to.

After being a State Farm customer for about 8 years, I expected much better follow-through and communication. Being told something was resolved, then being ghosted, only to discover months later that it was never actually resolved is unacceptable."

"We got transferred to Jake Squires when our agent retired. I've never actually talked to Jake but we've been very disappointed with the service. It's very hard to get in touch with anyone there either by phone or email. Our past experience was that the staff would help you get the best rates with mulit-line discounts, telemetrics, etc. However, Jake's staff needs to be handheld, and don't follow up with changes we talk about. In addition, they made me an insurance quote over the phone that never got put through. We also made a change of address over 20 days ago, and we are still receiving mail at the old address. Definitely don't recommend."
